Ritchie Gee was a teenager when rockers were dominating North
London. After an early period as an apprentice motorcycle
mechanic, he became road manager for the legendary Crazy Cavan
& the Rhythm Rockers. Eventually he became their agent.
Over 19 years ago he started the Tennessee Club as a regular
live rock'n'roll music venue at The White Hart in Tottenham.
It later moved for a while to The Stables, further along the
road on White Hart Lane.
These days the club has a fabulous location at the Trent
Park Golf Club at Oakwood, with plenty of space for both Ritchie
and his fellow enthusiasts to park their classic American
cars. |
