The History of the Tennessee Club

Ritchie Gee was a teenager when rockers were dominating North London. After an early period as an apprentice motorcycle mechanic, he became road manager for the legendary Crazy Cavan & the Rhythm Rockers. Eventually he became their agent.

Over 19 years ago he started the Tennessee Club as a regular live rock'n'roll music venue at The White Hart in Tottenham. It later moved for a while to The Stables, further along the road on White Hart Lane.

These days the club has a fabulous location at the Trent Park Golf Club at Oakwood, with plenty of space for both Ritchie and his fellow enthusiasts to park their classic American cars.

Ritchie and the Comets

Ritchie shares the Tennessee Club spotlight with old friend, Jacko Buddin, and Bill Haley's original 1955 Comets during a previous UK tour.
