Ritchie Gee was a teenager when Rockers and Teddy Boys were
dominating the North London Rock 'n' Roll scene. After an early period as a motorcycle mechanic &
then for over 17 years he was a roadie for the legendary band Crazy Cavan & the Rhythm Rockers,
in the 70's & 80's Ritchie travelled all over the UK, Europe, USA & Canada with the band.
Eventually he became their agent. To-day he's still friends with the band & still has a beer or
two with them.
Over 30 years ago he started the Tennessee Club as a live Rock 'n' Roll
music venue at the White Hart in Tottenham London he then moved to the King Stables in Wood Green.
Then he moved to the fabulous location at the Trent Park Golf Club at Oakwood,
with plenty of space for Ritchie and his fellow enthusiasts to park their classic American cars
and motorcycles.
He now runs the biggest Rock 'n' Roll Weekender in the UK which he calls
"The Wildest Cats in Town" which takes place twice a year in the Summer and Xmas. Situated at Pontins
Seaside Village, in Lowestoft, Suffolk. In 2022 he will be Celebrating his 20th year at Pontins with
another spectacular Weekender - Don't dare miss it.
